Precisely. Mr. Gutierrez came to California recently to preach his message of amnesty and "understanding." I'd been uninformed about his position until his visit. I could not believe his comments. So much so that I decided to mail him a respectful yet poignant letter.

Again, I'm as Hispanic as they come, brown skin and all. I am also a U.S. tax paying Citizen who proudly served in the U.S. military, and who's pledged allegiance to this country. That is my freekin duty. It's suppose to be his too!

Ugh! Don't get me started. My hot Latino blood is starting to boil!

Way to go chacho_keva and KickAssArmyChick.

I do the samething. I've written to the (former)Gov, of Mich, The Mayor of LA,Ca, Gov, Senators and Congess of Ca,. And many more,,,,Hazelton, Pa. AZ, MN.

You need to make it a point that that person knows you served this country. Then, be polite, but blunt and directly to the point and never lighten up
on letting the persn know pissed off you are about his position on the issue.

I also let them know, when I know, if they're on or close to a violation.

Wasn't he the one whose property was under assessed and claimed, after it made the news, that he had been trying to get it properly assessed for taxes?
