If they are so worried about cost, then why don't they cut funding of illegals in hospitals, schools etc......

Just as I dont hear any Indiana legislators or the Governor calling for the repeal of those costs...Why do you think that is?

I dont think under Indiana State law, concerned community groups can pass lor repeal laws...

The PC crowd would accuse them of being racists and xenophobes. After all, only "haters" oppose illegal immigration and the fleecing of America.

Well when you guys are complaining about stuff illegals don't receive (healthcare or welfare, foodstamps). It makes you look xenophobic. Do you have like you know, legitimate non-xenophobic reasons for not wanting them here? Look forward to some citations about how they are fleecing America.

Thanks for the laugh.

Google the illegal immigration costs for welfare, WIC, food stamps, education, incarceration. . . . for starters, and then get back with me.

By the way, can you defend illegal immigration without playing the xenophobe or race card? I await your baseless accusations.

Edit: Oh, I almost forgot. Also, Google organ transplants and kidney dialysis for illegals at taxpayers’ expense; as well as the closure of a 100-year-old clinic in Atlanta (Grady) due to the overwhelming number of illegal aliens receiving treatment.

Why would that make one xenophobic? Isn't the rule of law enough of a reason to oppose illegal immigration without the false and negative labels? A xenophobic is one who fears strangers. Who is a stranger among us? We already have every conceivable ethnic/racial/national group living here legally.

Illegals don't receive healthcare? Are you saying they don't go to the ER for treatment and do pay their bill? Are you saying many aren't giving birth on our dime? What about having to education their broods of kids? You think that is free? As for welfare and food stamps many are receiving those benefits through their anchor babies. If they weren't here there would no anchor babies and the ensuing costs passed on to us. How about the jobs they are holding that they have no right to and an American should have? If that isn't fleecing America then I don't know what is.

If their[illegal aliens] costs are passed on to "you", then that is done by state legislation.

Speak to the new added expense to cities that Indiana's mayors are concerned about...These costs to cities are not funded[by the state/ federal government] like social benefits are.

One can see this type of legislation coming a mile away....

Little by little the states will go where our government refuses to go and we will get rid of these illegal alien invaders once and for all.

They are a net benefit on the economy of our country. But please, let's hear your reasons for not letting them come here. It will be far more entertaining.

Once again, they aren't "immigrants" but illegal aliens. A whole world of difference.

Please provide "viable" stats that illegal aliens are a benefit to our country. Benicar, already gave you stats to the contrary.

Reasons for not letting them come here? Well for one we already allow in 1.5 lmillion legal immigrants per year based on the best interests of this country. Should we allow in as many that want to come in spite of that? How about the rule of law? Does that grab at your conscience at all assuming you are a loyal American?
