I really don't see a large audience for this. Probably a short run and then onto DVD.
It'll probably turn out like "The Day Without a Mexican".

Chris Weitz ("The Twilight Saga: New Moon")

Well - that director changed the image of vampires and zombies. Who better to change the image of drug and human traffickers and the whole business of illegals. He'll be the best one to make the greed of the cheap labor elites seem compassionate.

One can make a movie and show one aspect of a situation without it being a cover-up. I don't see why this is even a topic for Illegal Immigration; it's more like a thread on film criticism.

What a film maker 'should' do is neither up to you or me. They are free to describe a truth as they see fit. This thread is probably the most publicity the film will get. I'd never heard of it before this thread.

Why do we need a movie when we can read illegal alien "sob stories" in the MSM anytime?

Is there no documentary maker (any conservative on this issue filmmakers) than can make a movie (a la Michael Moore or Morgan Spurlock style) about the COSTS and DANGERS of illegal immigration? I'm sure it would be a big moneymaker (if it could find distributorship).

It would certainly open the eyes of many. Much of mainstream America doesn't understand the costs in dollars and sense terms.

Hollywood simply tries to make movies they think people like to see that make the most money.

They have made movies on let mafia criminals have they not? How about the Godfather even though it is a fictional family but those event were true in the historical context. Not long ago they made a movie on that guy that I think was nicknamed "Baby Face in during the depression, remember? Take care.
