It's getting even worse now that they have the excuse that their country is too violent now for them to want to live in. They're pouring over the border like it's gone out of style.

Only now they aren't coming as illegals, they are coming as cartel refugees. And that means they get instant money from the government to buy up houses and set up taco stands and of course food stamps, health care.

Americans suffer from this economy but the refugees from Mexico not only bring their big money with them but are handed some very nice money.

I'm gonna read that link about the "refugee" thing. That's horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if Mexico allowed the cartels to do what they do in order to assist the many people that want to leave Mexico and come here. It was a side-effect of the drug war: tons of Mexican nationals being able to seek asylum here in the US.

There are strong signs that at least the regions they have left behind in their own country are now collapsing. Juarez is a dead city - some people don't see that - but entire neighborhoods sit empty, stores are boarded up, only the very poor, the elderly and a few steadfast patriotic types remain. Those with the money to get to the USA have done so -- many thousands have quickly abandoned their country and want the food stamps, Medicaid and the rest here. Back home having baby after baby wasn't a problem but it's a plus here when each baby brings in more government handouts.

Soon they will outnumber the taxpayers. In many places they already do.
Very prophetic! I wonder if this is way Rome had fallen?
