^^^^^^^It will never happen. Republicans need the cheap labor and Democrats need to maintain the minority vote. Our illegal alien enforcement is a joke. If ICE wanted to, they could be deporting hundreds of illegals on a daily basis. It is nothing more than a political game played at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer. If our money was focused on the war at the border with the same vigor that it is spent in the middle east, there would be no problem. Well, no problems other that certain politicians NOT being re-elected.
Within the next 20 years, Americans, if they continue accepting relentless immigration, will see an added 50 to 60 million immigrants on top of another 20 million their (our) own citizens. That means another 60 to 75 million human beings will be competing for jobs, water, food and energy to keep warm and feed themselves.
Anybody scratching their noggins right about now? Getting a little nervous for your kids? Concerned about their fate? What about the rest of the planet? Ever hear of the phrase, “I want to give my kids a better life than I had.” Reality: ain’t gonna’ happen!
No one here ever seems to get that illegal immigration is never going to stop. If your a right leaning politician, you want your big business friends to have access to cheap labor.
If your a left leaning politician, you are not going to cut off your source of future votes when these people become citizens, also for democrats, doing anything against illegal immigrants could alienate those voters who sympathize and have family members that are illegal
No matter who you vote for, it's never going to stop. Politicians like to make people think they are going to do something about it. Even the New York Times says something should be done. But open your eyes, no one (New York Times included) wants to get rid of them. Look at all the companies that advertise in the Times. Do you honestly think they would anger all the companies that advertise with them (that probably use illegal labor) and risk losing advertising? They print the token article occasionally, about how bad it is, but no one, big business, politicians or Obama wants to fix any of it because in their view nothing needs fixing.

Every great nation eventually falls. Apparently, illegal immigration is our Achilles’ heel.
Well if it's inevitable, the illegals will continue to reshape our country into the one they just abandoned.
There are strong signs that at least the regions they have left behind in their own country are now collapsing. Juarez is a dead city - some people don't see that - but entire neighborhoods sit empty, stores are boarded up, only the very poor, the elderly and a few steadfast patriotic types remain. Those with the money to get to the USA have done so -- many thousands have quickly abandoned their country and want the food stamps, Medicaid and the rest here. Back home having baby after baby wasn't a problem but it's a plus here when each baby brings in more government handouts.
Soon they will outnumber the taxpayers. In many places they already do.
I tell my son repeatedly, he can’t blame me if the U.S. is a third-world country in 20 years. I feel bad for his generation. Talk about balkanization and anarchy. Hopefully, I won’t be alive to experience life among the ruins of our once great nation.
I'm in my 20s and I feel the same way. It's kinda sad really, but that is what makes me motivated to secure myself and my family.
I think we shouldn't feel "scared" because that signals a feeling of defeat. Don't be scared, just do what you can legally do to stop the downfall. The sad part is that our own politicians are the reason for these things and of course our greedy business owners (not all are bad or greedy) who pay them to allow things to happen.

I think that we all know that it will never stop. However, the rates and the volume of illegal immigration in our country throughout the past, present and if it continues at this rate, in the future, is ridiculous.
