There are many, many small bridges across the Rio Grande, into Texas.

That reminds me of a program I watched over the weekend called “Cuff Me If You Can.” A woman was involved in a murder in Texas, and fled to Mexico to avoid arrest. She worked as a prostitute in both Texas and Juarez, and would commute almost daily between the two. She didn’t even have a passport. She was finally arrested after three years on the lam. If crossing the border on a regular basis as a "wanted murderer" is that easy, I can only imagine how easy it must be for illegals.
