For some reason the US media isn't reporting the AH1N1 deaths just over the border in a city where many thousands are fleeing over to the USA for other reasons. Legally and of course not legally.

Even if the government were to check border crossers at the official ports of entry (which they will not do for money and political correctness reasons), they aren't doing a thing to stop those who just walk over or climb over the fence, cut through it, crawl under it.

Second Traffic policeman dead of AH1N1 in Juarez - right on the border. 33 years old, last Wednesday a 26 year old traffic cop dies from this.

Of course the media won’t touch this story. Otherwise, our government might have to actually protect our borders, and we certainly can’t have that.

But, remember, according to Napolitano, our borders are "more secure" than ever.

Well, not lying here. "something" is more than "nothing".

I don't think it is. These are just two of the recent deaths, in the article, it mentions a young woman who recently died also from this.

Guess what else is coming over the border - soon
It's already in the US - it never left - the CDC reports over 9,300 confirmed H1N1 cases this season including 17 infant deaths. H1N1 deaths appear to get only local coverage - I didn't know about the recent deaths in San Antonio and Washington state until I Googled.

Please. What was the virus that started in Mexico a few years ago? I remember the media and Obama tying themselves into knots as to why the border shouldn't be sealed. Their excuse had something about the economy.

So basically we could all be infected by a deadly virus that originates in Mexico because of the economy and political correctness. That's what passes for leadership these days.

It’s a sad state of affairs. Even after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, our borders remain as porous as ever, notwithstanding Big Sis’ claims to the contrary. I am not sure our borders would be secured even if we have an attack involving a WMD, linked to illegal border crossers from Mexico, killing millions of U.S. citizens. Their greed is just too powerful.

El Pasoan treated for H1N1 in Chihuahua - El Paso Times

Posted: 03/25/2011 07:59:25 AM MDT

Two cases of H1N1 flu have been confirmed and 13 more are under investigation in the state of Chihuahua, a state official said Thursday.
Eight patients are being treated for the virus in Juárez, and among them is an El Pasoan, said Chihuahua Gov. César Horacio Duarte.
Duarte said agents of the traffic police in Juárez also have been treated for the virus. One officer died of pneumonia, but officials could not confirm if the death was due to H1N1.
