Illegal immigrants arrested in Davidson County could start sticking around longer than usual, although they would probably be in jail.

The Sheriff's Department expects to receive approval today for a federal program that would allow the jail to hold illegal immigrants for longer periods of time, in exchange for federal funds.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio down in Mariposa County Arizona could show them how to hold them really cheap. In fact his cost are so low he's probably making money off the federal government by holding them in his tent city jail.
