The law only grants illegal alien children equal access to a K-12 education. It does NOT give their parents a free pass. That is the risk they take by choosing to violate our laws. Citizen children are also entitled to a tax-funded K-12 education. Does that mean if their parents are criminals, they should be off-limits? What point are you trying to make? How is it incongruent?

Just like the law grants children of shoplifters, drunk drivers, rapists, embezzlers, hot check writers free schooling but that does not automatically absolve the parents of crimes they commit.

Why aren't the pro-illegal posters shedding tears for all those other kinds of law breakers or their kids?

Or is the new rule that anyone who has kids to exploit never has to be held accountable for anything they do?

How true. Children suffer when their parents choose to live outside the law. However, we never hear whining when it involves citizens. Yet, somehow the children of illegals are special, and we are “separating families” when their parents are arrested.

Besides, this is a onesided article and when it's told from the defensive side it's always twisted to make them sound innocent and make the other side look bad.

Put the kids in prison with their parent, ...no more seperation.

Kinda sad, not even getting into the politics of of immigration, but the "what ifs"

Say they werent illegal, the children whos parents were stalked would be shamed and scared for life.

Say they were illegal, and worse came to worse they took a child hostage.

I dont think this was the right way to go, what do you think?
They should have put up a DL checkpoint on the road leading to the school and checked everyone.

Why would American Citizens be afraid to leave the school? Because they aren't American Citizens that's why.

Guess what ? Criminals are "stalked" every day of the week, it's called Law enforcement for a reason.

It's ALWAYS in the "Best" interest of America when the laws are enforced.
No your speaking out of politics and your way of thought.

Lets take your example, criminals are stalked everyday right? crackheads, pushers, etc.

Heres my reason to why this is wrong, We dont arrest crackheads who happen to enter a school, why? Cause they are dangerous people and might do stupid things in a school if cornered. Why not wait till they get back in their car and down the street? Why put children in danger?

Get out of your "fear shell" and think logically. We arent talking politics, we're talking about how they conducted this search?

And your other "they shouldnt take their children to school" Theres many legals going to school who shouldnt be in harms way if this was to get out of control, its not airport security where you have a choice to fly or not, its a law you must go to school so why should everyone have to be I.D.'d

"ICE officers are required to follow a policy that prohibits operations near schools unless approved by headquarters," his statement said. "It is not clear that this policy was appropriately followed in this matter."

Read~~ Not enough information so "stalking" accusations are uncalled for. If they were cleared to operate near a school then BRAVO.
