this is why utah wanted to experiment with illegas in their state for a temp work pass.
Actually it has been reported that it would cost more to allow all of the illegal immigrants to stay here than it would to deport them. This was released by the Department of Homeland Security itself at the request of some Congressmen.

If you look at the costs for the country and the state. It would be cheaper to build better security to reduce illegal immigration AND deport the estimated population of illegal immigrants than to just allow them to stay here.

So, letting them stay here is what is "too costly." Look at places like California, Texas, Washington or New York. They are spending more in years than the amount it takes to secure the border and deport even those who aren't "violent" and drug-related criminals.

Your link has nothing in the way of support of your argument, and isn't even addressing what you're talking about. The only dollar amounts listed in the article are an enumeration of the budget of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Further, the Senators were only asking DHS how much money they would need to deport every illegal, they were not taking the full economic impact of such a move into account.

That would make sense except the deficit is a lot more than $113B. Don't you think you should do some research before you make this post?
