You're telling me. I have lived in Canada ( I have family up there ) during a few summers and I never even attempted to get a job because I am not Canadian and I am not authorized to work up there. The Canadians owe me nothing. I don't expect them to give me any sort of freebies and I would never work there illegally. I'd be ashamed to do so.
Now why do illegal aliens feel entitled to what they never put work into? Or paid into? That is what I don't get.
How about thanking us for giving their children free healthcare, free educatio, free housing..? Oh no! They want more.. and more and more.

Anywho, those kids will grow up and pay taxes, cause they are American, so their parents collect foodstamps for their kids, well the kids will have papaers grow up and pay taxes and their parents will still be illegal. Say we didnt give them food, the kids would starve and would prolly end up in a shelter anyways, the cost of just giving out foodstamps is better than kids in a shelter who have tax dollars pay not only for food but for housing.

Yes, without a refugee claim you are SOL. Refugee claimants in Canada receive healthcare and are allowed to work and attend school while their claim is being processed. They may even be given money for basics at the port of entry before being released with a promise to show up for their hearing. Most refugee claimants fly in - arrivals at the US/Canada border are denied under the Safe Third Country Agreement. Many of those with bogus claims flush their documents down the airplane toilet before reaching the customs desk. Canada has about 30-40,000 refugee claims/year. Luckily they have the US as a buffer with Central America. Randy Quaid applied for refugee status to get away from "Hollywood star whackers"
