Republican National Commitee Leaves Bush in The Dust on Immigration
Uh-oh. Looks like the money tree finally ran out at the RNC and they're looking to make amends with the millions of Republican American's they royally hosed by trying to ram amnesty down everyone's throats.
Too little, too late?
LINK: GOP resolution rejects amnesty for illegals*-*Nation/Politics*-*The Washington Times, America's Newspaper
I'll just excerpt a couple noteable paragraphs:
State Republican officials from across the country on Thursday will formally break with the desire of President Bush and other top Republican leaders to include amnesty and other benefits for illegal aliens in immigration-reform legislation.

Looks like the lame duck just drowned.

Maybe Bush did ALL Americans a big favor, unintentionally of course, with his attitude of, "The American people want (insert name here)? So what! What do they think they can do about it?"

They won't see a penny from me, unless they get their old wrinkled heads together and get Ramos and Campeon freed and make a bigger effort to get the borders secured NOW. It should be to their shame that it is mainly DEMOCRATS striving to get them set free!

Drying the campaign money up sure gets their attention quick doesn't it? I'm not giving them a dime, and I won't vote for anyone who supports amnesty in any way.

I completely agree with what you posted here. I have been registered as an Independent for some time now because I see both the Republicans and the Democrats as both sides of the same coin.
