Default They will learn English

Why do all the open borders groups say they will learn English if immigration reform is pass?

Because it is just one of the things that they think will sway us into thinking that CIR will be a good thing for our country, along with the claims that they will pay back taxes and/or a fine.

Because they are delusional.

If they are granted amnesty, they will not assimilate. They don't want to. It is not in their plans. Some of them have been in the US for 10, 20, 30 years and have yet to learn English! Do these people really think they're just going to do it now? Yeah, right.

At the senior center that I go to there are a few of Mexican ancestry there that don't speak English and they also have been here for decades. From what I have been told they are here legally. What's up with that?

The only way I believe they will learn English is if there an enforcement in the bill & cut to Bilingual education, certain jobs & other Bilingual services.

There are many areas in El Paso, Los Angeles, Miami, etc where you can walk several blocks and not hear a single person speaking English. All you hear is people speaking Spanish.

Yet according to liberals, these barrios are as American as apple pie.

I agree. As long as they can get by just fine without learning english there will never be a need for them to do so.

First place to start would be to eliminate the English/Spanish option at the beginning of every call made to a business. They would get the message real fast.

Sadly, I don't think that will ever happen.

Stop the dial one for "language", CONFIRM English as our National language, which it is, and they will HAVE to adopt to AMERICAS ways.

Those behind the curtain have their own agenda, which everyone knows.

I am DAMNED tired of it.
