President Barack Obama says it will take changing minds, hearts and votes to fix a broken immigration system. He also told celebrants at a Cinco de Mayo reception at the White House that their help will be needed to make it happen. Notice how there is never talk about enforcement.

Funny too Cinco de Mayo is not even a national holiday in Mexico. It's only a local holiday in one state in Mexico....most Mexicans in Mexico do not observe it

I am aware of that. Disgusting. So did Obama also spend St Patrick's Day talking about immigration reform? I am aware they dyed the fountain green but did he do that?

This immigration reform BS is always... ALWAYS directed towards Mexicans, El Salvadorias, Bolivians, etc.

I am not surprised. They are the ones who will benefit from it (since most illegal aliens come from Mexico, Central and South America) while the American taxpayer gets screwed over and over again.

I was just reading about this subject on another board and someone said "it's impossible to find all the illegals to send them home." Well, if they are so hard to find then offering them citizenship should draw them out of hiding. Once they step forward and announce they want that offered citizenship, we can just tell them we had our fingers crossed and they just lost the American lottery.
The lost are found and sent home where they truly belong!

Illegals from non Latin American countries would rather keep quiet and not flaunt their immigration status. That is why there is less animosity toward illegals from non Latin American countries.
