I cannot imagine why they would seek to protect violent criminals. The US and also the country of origin should get the fingerprints and any other data on these criminals.

Look at this one: (Inaccurate title as he clearly was not US bred at all but that's political correctness for you)

US-bred criminal accused in Mexico mass killings - El Paso Times

US-bred criminal accused in Mexico mass killings

SAN FERNANDO, Mexico (AP) - When he was deported from the U.S. to Mexico for the third time, Martin Estrada Luna was a high school dropout with a rap sheet of petty crimes like burglary.

Less than two years later, Mexican authorities say, he has transformed himself into a drug baron known as El Kilo, the leader of a ruthless cell of the Zetas gang who masterminded the mass killings of more than 250 people. He is now under arrest in Mexico City.

This absolutely killed me:

Quote:
Quinn criticized Secure Communities for netting large numbers of non-criminal undocumented immigrants, which he said was contrary to the DHS messaging on the program.

Yes and this article actually involves illegals who have broken other laws. That's what is strange, now they don't want even the non-immigration laws enforced for this very special group.

Liberals said during the AZ 1070 signing that Immigration Laws are up to the Feds now they want to go their own way. Too bad. Why would anyone be against a program entitled "Secure Communities"? That would imply you're for Insecure Communities.
