They well should be.
Talk about loss of order in the world.

Or is this about "touchy feely" views?
I would say that the full concept of sovereignty is not universally recognized by everyone...

When has the world had any sense of "order" to it?...

Look at many of the posts, from both sides, that show quite a bit of emotional content...

Also agreed, many times the emotional component in an issue can be deceptive...

OK, for some the goal is no borders, maybe one government for all., the UN is so wise, life isn't fair. anyone not having something that somebody else does even though they didn't work to get it (freedom & opportunity included), and is just isn't right thinking.

That's bull.

The soveirgnty of borders is recognized by every government on this planet. What an individual thinks is irrelevant. Immigration laws are also something that all countries have and that all governments recognize.

I like it how everybody likes to generalize and get offended when the other side of the issue does the same. It really shows integrity. Yes, I am being sarcastic.
What I really wanted to say though is : as the discussion continues, remember to stay respectful.
Yac.

That's what it boils down to. In spite of incredibly high unemployment rates in the USA, in spite of a government with impossible debt, there are those who want the borders to remain open and have the USA invite in all the impoverished people of the world to live out their lives here living in grand style.

No matter that illegals aren't coming any longer for jobs because there are no jobs, we must still keep bringing them in. No limits of any kind on how many people can simply show up here.

They view the taxpayers of the USA with unlimited ability to pay more in taxes so that the whole world can come here and live comfortably.
