They have a legal home, in the country of their birth. They need to go back there, and start their lives. And there is a path to citizenship, filling out the required paperwork to enter the US legally with a student visa, or work permit.

Did everyone forget that is the way people are supposed to become citizens?!

I had a student who came here at age 12, she was blind. Her "pathway" was to have as many babies as possible...which she did, all with congenital Glaucoma, all collecting SS benefits. She has a higher income than me. No one sent her back, because all her kids were citizens...she gets section 8 housing. She lives in a better place than me, with no rent.

She did not even need the "Dream Act".

The problem won't disappear unless we actually do something about it, deport those who are here illegally.

But there is always a bleeding heart who will call that inhumane, or say that it will be impossible to deport the majority of the illegal aliens here...then they go on to say the border is extremely secure and that giving amnesty is the answer.
This is the problem with hard line Anti's....

You are Dreaming...too many people are against this method for obvious reasons.

So back to reality...the problem stays in a stalemate and continues the downward spiral.

Dream Act has been circulating since 2001.

For obvious reasons...other than the fact that they just don't care?

Too many people is not the majority of people.

I don't know, you tell me...

Could have overstayed a visa...or maybe her poor parents who just wanted a better life brought her.

Poor little girl, you can't blame her...can you?

If they graduate from an American High School and join the American military or attend an American college, they are Americans. Their culture is American, they have no other home country.

Are you posting here because you get a kick out of it, or because you really believe what you are saying?

So does the same apply to exchange students who get a student visa, pay thousands of dollars to stay with a host family in order to come here and attend High School?

Are they Americans too?
