The police will ask you on the street for your legal documents and if you don't have them they will send you on a plane back to your country.

Thats not racist.

I've traveled in Mexico and they do the same. Go through some of their highway checkpoints some time, you are expected to abide by their laws.

OK so if a US police officer asked you for your legal documents...what are you going to show them?

Whats a "legal Document"?

If I am pulled over, I am asked for my driver's license (which I obtained by showing my birth certificate) and my registration card.

What's the problem?

What do you think?

Passport, USCIS papers, Valid Visa if you are here on one.
Most people carry some sort of ID.

Its cheaper to put them on a plane & send them home, than paying to keep them.

I see no problem having to show or carry some documentation.

Everyone does. If they don't they are lying.

Question: What if someone whips out a fake ID? Those need to be exposed on the spot otherwisewe're wasting manpower

I always carry my ID...all 3 of them...no matter what. I'd hate to get in a very bad car accident for example and not be able to be ID'd. Might sound silly but I've seen it happen before.

And if law enforcement wants to look at them, go ahead.

It happens once in a while you have some people with fake ID's, but soon they will be caught.
