FAIR estimates that EVERY illegal alien in Pennsylvania costs the state $14,000 apiece annually?...

No wonder Luis Ramirez was beaten to death...

Another state recognizing the impotence of the federal government and taking action

This is pure music to my ears:

Quote:
bill would require individuals requesting public benefits in the Commonwealth to provide identification proving they are legal residents. Additionally, they would be required to sign an affidavit stating they are a U.S. citizen or an alien lawfully present in the United States.

Any applicant signing the affidavit stating they are a legal alien would have their immigration status verified through the Federal Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlement Program (SAVE), operated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

I wonder what the bleeding heart progressive elitists will say about this.....

Ima lovin this bill! Except for one thing, now they will flock to MD as it is quickly moving into a State of tolerance for illegal aliens.

Oops! Forgot, the petition to oppose the in state tuition bill is quickly nearing quota to be rescinded!!! Bye bye illegal ALIENS, go HOME, America is NOT your HOME nor your purse string anymore.

We don't want you here, we are tired of footing YOUR bill and truly, your workmanship is far inferior to Americas standards, MY Country has noticed.

Under current federal law, illegal aliens are prohibited from receiving federal, state or local public benefits with the exception of emergency medical care, necessary immunizations and disaster relief. However, Pennsylvania law is simply too lenient in enforcing those provisions.

Seems that it's not the federal law...its Pennsylvania's inablity to enforce the laws in their state.

The "impotence" is in Pennsylvania and not on Pennsylvania Avenue...

Way to go PA! I am proud of my birthplace.

Sadly, getout is right. Now, they’ll flock to Maryland, but hopefully, they won’t stay long.

Good bill; I'm proud of my state. Wouldn't they just put their kids name in for it though since they could still use them to get welfare?

So glad the bill has passed. Now hopefully Corbett is gonna sign it, and I no longer have to put up with the east and west end Walmarts in York having specially dedicated MoneyGram forms pre-filled for sending money to Mexico. York and Adams County have been infiltrated by them
