I asked myself the same questions when I read the article. There are many Hispanic-Americans. How will they be discriminated against since they would have legal documentation to work here and should pass e-verify with flying colors? And just how will "immigrants" be discriminated against.? I hate how the pro-illegals spin the word "immigrant" when in fact they are speaking of illegal aliens.

If I had gone through the channels to enter the country legally I would proudly display my "papers" to anyone that would take the time to look. I can't imagine people coming here legally being upset with this.

Whenever I have applied for a job I produce references, college transcripts, or anything else that is asked for if I want and need the job. The term "applying" indicates that no one is guaranteed a job, you are expected to impress the interviewer and win the job. Why is proving citizenship different than providing references?

To me this is similar to the argument that if someone is stopped for a driving infraction and has no license or proof of insurance they would be held for further scrutiny. I can understand leaving your license at home once in a blue moon but don't most people leave their proof of insurance in the car that is covered by that policy?

The pro illegal arguments are just so weak they look ridiculous, IMO.
