I think from now on we should allow the mods to decide what is off topic and what isn't. Many times in the course of a conversation topics get veered off a bit from the original one. That is natural even away from this forum. Personally, I don't find that earth shattering just as long as the topic is still about illegal immigration.

If they were actually cancelled and effective, they wouldn't be worth so much to the cartel smuggling rings.

I guess if the government was serious about controlling who and what comes over the border, it would do something about cancelling them.

It's like the promise to create jobs for the American people - it's just something politicians like to say they'll do but they have reasons to keep sending jobs out and reasons for keeping the border unenforced.
