Its not racial profiling. Many countries do it and it works.

The police job is to protect & serve the community.

By not asking a persons legal status is not Protecting the community.

I agree and i think that every police stop should require for police to ask this! Can we make this a law?

We need too.
I think in most countries police can question your status.

Illegals came here & try to play the race card and quilt trip.

iight, of its not racial profiling, who would the police ask most? Who would be the first to be questioned?

In a large number of countries around the world, when stopped by law enforcement one of the things they ask is to present papers, proof of who you are and why you are there.

Seems to work where they care about enforcing laws, not so much here.

So everyone gets asked. End of the claim of racial profiling. You have a problem with that?

I see nothing wrong at all, in doing so. Other Countries do certainly do this, why shouldn't we.

Our Country just does not seem to want to do things the correct way.

There are sure signs of a person being an illegal alien, not just based on race but also

Inability to speak the English language
Never looking people in the eye
Possessing obviously fake ID's and driver's licenses

Of course everyone will not be asked.

The same thing they do in NY with illegal random bag searches (Of course they need a warrant) but they do it anyway.

Its the same policy they can do here in NY. Random searches.
