Do you think it will ever come to that?

It's interesting to me that we are fighting wars on three fronts now. None of them impact our own citizens the way the Mexican drug cartels do. If we were truly interested in the betterment of the lives of human beings why would we not bomb the crap out of the cartels? Would it leave too many people unemployed that are involved in the war on drugs? Do we have too many of our own politicians on the take? Would it upset Hollywood? Would the UN sanction us for being inhumane?

I am seriously asking for opinions on why we don't put an end to this problem. Anyone?????

The president of Mexico did threaten to start namimg names of politicians in this country who are making money off drugs. I'm not sure exactly what he wanted in return for his silence, but it had something to do with the treatment of illegal immigrants from Mexico.

I think the two main reasons illegal immigration is tolerated though is big business, which generally means Republicans, wants cheap labor, and Democrats see them as potential Democratc voters if they can pass a CIR bill, and get them on a fast track to citizenship.

No, the problem is because the people there use the drugs. Mexicos problems are not the fault or issue of this country, not saying the US hasn't enabled them but they are responsible for their own.

Sorry but that is pretty much fiction. Mexico does have a drug problem but it is rather small compared to the US. But the social unrest is driven almost entirely by the drug wars which deal with the drugs going to the US. The local drug business is a small side show.

The USofA is the primary source of the dollars that fund the Mexican drug cartels.

Over US dollars. We seem unable to understand that our war on drugs has caused immense problems in Mexico.
