1- Aren't Latinos also "Hispanic"? Hummm....

2- For someone that cares not whether the term Chicano is pejorative or not, you have a long winded "opinion" of what kind that person IS! We are still all entitled to our personal ideological beliefs.

3- Tricky answer Liq! 2 - 4 months here, 2 - 4 months there, well you know, it adds up to 12 eventually. ;-)

What was the question? Oh, just tell the obstructionists in charge in congress to get their partisan noses out of big corporate's back-sides long enough to pass a comprehensive guest worker program, that allows workers to return to India, Mexico, or wherever when work is finished. while they're at it, maybe up the NUMBER of H-2A visas available just a little each year...? Just a thought.

Now, how about answering the questions I posed vs showing ignorance to the issue.

The U.S.D.A. seems to think there is a problem.

Don't ever put words in my mouth and lie about me! In fact I have said quite the opposite of what you are claiming. I have ALWAYS said I have no problem with any ethnic group or individual just as long as they are here legally and respect our laws and our culture. GOT THAT NOW?

As for morons tho.....
Why? Are you saying that minorities should be defended even when they break the law? Are they more human than non-minorities?

Well, you've also indicated that you're completely opposed to letting in a single person more than that allotted by an arbitrary government quota, even if that person wants to go through all the hoops that all the other legal immigrants did.

hmm...Shouldn't minorities be defended just as people of the majority are when they break the law? Are you saying minorities are less human?

So wanting immigration to be in reasonable quotas (and they aren't arbitrary as I pointed out to you already) that won't negatively impact our own citizens and create uncontrolled population growth somehow means that one must hate immigrants?

Just quoting this statement for irony.

But also, could you publish a link to the study that the government did that shows that the number of immigrants optimal for our country to let in is exactly N and not N+1?

Gonzo already responded to your post adequately, but I also want to add that yes, even those that commit the misdemeanor of unlawful entry are entitled to humane treatment.

How should we treat those that HIRE the undocumented worker?
