Probably not. But since there are very few agricultural jobs in this country compared to every other occupation, the farmers can petition for legal immigrant crop picker under the existing visas.

Increased population growth with less of a need for immigrant labor for one thing. Jobs need to be provided to Americans first. Immigration and labor laws for another.

Baloney. These are all blue collar jobs that Americans have always done that illegals are holding. It isn't just white collared workers that are unemployed right now.

Well, the influx of Mexicans here to work pretty much takes your idea that we are less dependent on immigrant labor and shows it's wrong by example. You want to make people do jobs they don't want just so we don't have to rely on immigrants right? Freedom!

If there are 1.2 million unemployed, and up to 30 (omg) million illegals here, did the other 28.8 illegals steal jobs too or is that how many are living of the fat reimbursements of anchor baby welfare?

What? the population growth has shrank dramatically. The US is the only major industrialized nation whose population is growing and know why that is? ..........immigration. I don't think population growth means too much though. The US still has a very low population density.

Less jobs needed for immigrant labor? Proportionately the US has a highly skilled labor force, the US was, is, and will continue to be in need of low skilled labor to fill those jobs that don't require an education or skills so that True English Speaking Pro Patriotic Americans ( Trademarked) can become highly skilled and wealthy.

That's right. Accept your status as a peon. People from Latin America need things. Give them things or you are a racist!

If by things, you mean an opportunity to succeed, which is what most everyone else is talking about, then.....
