Unconstitutional ??? Since they are illegal the constitution would not apply to them at all now would it. Why should American's pay for illegals ? Any way you slice this issue it is wrong. Send them home. And for everyone that is for them being here, you people are the part of the problem. Millions of Americans are hungry, without healthcare and without a government that gives 2 sh*ts that they are even in the world. Yet you people support illegals more than your countrymen ! Americans pay for their children, their healthcare, their education and so on. Yet when most of you pass an American with a hand out because he is hungry you turn your noses up and walk quickly past to avoid it altogether. Take the millions a year spent on illegals and feed Americans !

Actually, it does. The Constitution refers to persons, not citizens.

Well now, what have we here? I just came over here to see if I could locate any really good posts and pass some rep pts. around to some deserving soul. Wow, I am going to have to look pretty durn hard to do so. Now MoHillbilly qualifies, as does Oldmanwinter. Have to check more deeply concerning others tho'.

I do believe that some of you have this all wrong. This is America, last time I checked and we do have a Constitution and Laws, local, state, and Federal. I thought, but then again, I may be wrong, that if an individual 'broke' any of these laws, they wold be punished if found guilty!!!

I thought that crawling over a fence, attempting to get somewhere that you do not belong, was an illegal act and against the LAW. I thought that an individual was supposed to 'apply' for the 'right' to enter this country and Then and Only then, enjoy the freedoms and all else that is offered here in the United States of America. Key word here after over 150 years or so, is UNITED.

Those of us, and I do not include myself, that insist on offering sympathy to self made criminals, may need to take another look at our laws. To me it is quite simple, you break our laws and you pay!!!

I have ex-in-laws that are of Spanish decent and all of them are legal. their parents came here from Puerto Rico and guess what? They all speak English and are employed. They do not understand why Anglos are so quick to accept illegal acts.

I love these people and have great respect for them. They are my friends. So, do not think for one minute that all non Spanish speaking people are against those that are of another culture. Just stand up for America.

Then they go to Mexico and people over there don't accept them either because they don't consider themselves Mexicans anymore because again: they want to become Americans! So at the end what happens? They don't feel accepted here nor there. Poor people, try to understand them!
No, not that cry-me-a-river stuff again. No body forced them to come here. Everyone would be better off if they had stayed home.

Puerto Ricans have been US citizens since 1917.

In America, the accused is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

In the eyes of the law they are innocent. But that doesn't mean the public has to see it that way. We are entitled to see and interpret facts and make our own judgments as we see fit.

Besides, many illegals never see a jury and they go free without a trial after committing crimes. I was a corrections officer in Omaha, and I'd see illegal after illegal work their way through the system. They would frequently have their court appointed attorney call immigration and they would self-deport and all charges would be dropped. Then three weeks later they would be back in the country.

In fact, Fox News ran a story a month ago about an illegal alien that raped a woman up in New England. He volunteered to self-deport and was just about to be released to ICE for deportation when public pressure stopped it, and he's now going to trial.

Every illegal alien here is a criminal. Including their children. They should be deported by any means necessary.

Ah, but I didn't say When they came here. And I also said: " 'they would be punished 'if found guilty'"

Thank you. Enough said.

Illegal aliens, regardless of their age, need to be escorted across the border. Using whatever force is necessary. They are criminals.
doing this and securing the border against re-entry is the ONLY to solve and not bandaid or mask the issue, thats the governments job.

I hear a lot about not allowing them an education, but I don't think we want them on the streets either.

In CA they tried to pass a bill that would not allow illegals access to the ps system, but it was deemed unconstitutional, so it was stopped before it was started.

Ideas?

Dawn
Ship them back! Last year in the county that I was living in, the classes were filled up with illegals and I couldn't get my children in the school that was in my district (the school that was walking distance from my house). I had to send them to another school a few miles away. Now that is bull*&*t!!
