Nice to know I'm not the only one who missed their strategy to tackle the illegal immigration problem. I thought maybe it was discussed on one of the occasions when I left the room, or switched to The First 48.

Strategy? None. I should have just watched "Honey, Boo, Boo", which got more viewers than the RNC.

I doubt that either candidate will address the illegal immigration problem during the conventions. Hopefully it will come up in the debates.

Well at least they didn't promise to give all the illegals amnesty like Obama is promising them if they re-elect him.

The lack of promises of quick and easy citizenship to all who manage to get illegally over the border is the only thing we really have I think.

What could they do worse than what this administration has done? Do you really think they should have marginalized their position with hispanics right now by announcing a sweeping immigration reform or a illegal roundup or something of the sort? HELLO!! They want the hispanic vote and they are not currently in the position to give an amnesty like someone else we know....

Republicans are not going to get any more of the Hispanic vote unless they turn into Democrats on the issues so why pander to them in their native language?

Many American "Hispanics" DON'T speak Spanish and I DON'T see the point of even using that language cause unless above a certain age like maybe 60, a legal alien NEEDS to know English to become a US citizen. Illegals; who cares?

Yea, in between all the finger pointing, name calling and patting themselves on their own back.

Maybe Julian Castro, the keynote speaker at the DNC, will give some insight??? I'm wondering if the DNC will have subtitles in Spanish?
