What if 20 million illegals just - leftthe U.S.

Then America would have 20 million less people who do not want to abide by the Law of the land...... must be a win win situation.

When you pass the border legally you get subjected to the following:

1. X-ray scan of your body.
2. You are asked personal and nonsense questions.
3. They photograph you.
4. They take your finger prints, each hand so all 10 fingers are finger printed.
5. They investigate how much money you are carrying.
6. If entering on a one-way ticket they force you to buy a return ticket right away although you have not decided when to leave yet.
7. Visa approval without the ability to appeal decision.
8. They copy your passport.
9. Search of personal items, luggage and hand-padding up to the groin.
10. Same rude BS even if in transit to other country.

When you pass the border illegally you get:

1. Free return transport.
2. Food stamps for your kids.
3. Education for your kids.
4. Free medical care at ERs.
5. Work without being taxed.

Summary:

1. It's better not to follow the laws.
2. The US wants to fill up the country with dishonest people.

That is just one model of many.

The biggest correlation you will find is the creation of new government entities in Table 1.

Interior and Agriculture are around the civil war and as you can see in Figure 1 a new equilibrium is established around the year 1870.

Then it starts to ramp up again with the creation of Labor and Commerce. The second world war gives an abnormal spike.

Around 1950 it just completely goes out of control with the creation of HHS, HUD, Transportation, Energy, Education, VA and so on.

The creation of each entity I doubt correlates to how lower income workers vote.

This model explains the growth in government in part because, over time, new entrants into the voting population are lower income workers. These lower income workers will cast votes for the candidate who will levy higher taxes and increase the amount of redistribution. (end paragraph)

Like having a 25,000 dollar appendicities surgery invoice voided and billed to the US tax payer?

For sure next time I am coming back as illegal (If I choose to come back) - better than being treated like a common criminal for being legal.

So, me by myself is a tag team? And when it's the truth it's nonsense? But when you do it, it's okay and far beyond acceptable.

I like it. When you have been proven wrong, just leave.

you are correct in that we have actually encouraged a system of bad behavior, but it is fixable.

there are a lot of things that we can't fix, but this is something that can be fixed. as for the TSA, i think they are just willing to see how much abuse americans will tolerate. the fact that it is so "politically correct" now that little children and cancer-stricken elderly people have to be groped is ridiculous. it is obvious that common sense has left the building.

if we would go back to a system of rewarding the good guys and punishing the bad guys america could easily get back on track. if you don't reward the bad behavior with freebies, the bad behavior will stop on its own because there is nothing to be gained.

Yes, and dishonest employers.

What incentive is there for employers to provide work visas which might cost them when nothing is going to be done if they just hire cheaper illegals?

By not enforcing the rules, they are actually hurting those who wish to come here legally, the illegals pour over the border and fill up the jobs that woulc otherwise go to Americans or legally immigrated.

By not enforcing the rules, they encourage people to pay smugglers which are associated with the very violent cartels and these peope risk being added to some burial pit filled with corpses of other would be illegals. The cartels control the illegal border activities of every kind, including those criminal groups that will abandon them in the desert leaving them to die.

We discourage employers from getting H2A and H1B and other visas to fill their labor shortage needs because why bother, you can get away with hiring illegals and doing whatever you want.

Legal immigration with work visas is also a far more fair way because there can be more equality, more ethnic diversity. Instead of only one group of people coming over the border, people from around the world can all apply.

This. As a bonus, it gives the racist mobs an easy punching bag to blame all their problems on.

What you don't seem to understand is we have American engineers out of work, why should many engineers from all over the world show up and be quickly processed or given a job before the paperwork is processed while the Americans face such high unemployment?

The open borders crowd needs to realize that with NAFTA and all these China and other trade deals, many millions of jobs have left the USA and continue to leave the USA.

We simply do not need millions more people showing up to take the very very few available jobs.
So an out-of-work US engineer should be forced to take a drywall job? I'm not really sure what you're getting at here, but it sounds like a super-micromanaged command economy.
