A gay illegal alien is still an illegal alien invader.....
Bringing up the "gay" side is supposed to do what?
Should a gay illegal alien invader get any different justice than a hetrosexual illegal alien invader or something?
Gays along with other minorities represent a federally protected social class so yes, being gay could very well mean extra protections under the law not shared by illegal heterosexuals.

Yeah right.....
Illegal aliens no matter what their sexuality have the same American "rights"...
Well sham green card marriages are limited to heterosexuals so maybe that isn't fair and it's not homosexuals giving birth in large numbers to children they cannot really support here in this country without Medicaid, WIC and food stamps.
I don't know how I feel about it, except that like others said, heterosexuals getting married to get around the immigration laws should be deported and the same should be done for others who do the same. An just like heterosexuals, love and marriage isn't something that can just happen in the USA, if the spouse or partner truly loves the illegal, they would consider their vows and move home with him or her.

Well, sure, it "could very well mean extra protections" not shared by heterosexuals. But it doesn't. As the law currently stands, it actually means that they get fewer rights, as they're not allowed to come back after a temp-ban, as a heterosexual couple would be. So, the truth is the exact opposite of what you're suggesting might be the case.

Two questions:
1. How do you determine if people are getting married just to get around immigration laws? Can you see true love? Is there some sort of test for it?
2. If one partner is an illegal here, and the other is an illegal there, where would you send these people if they, as a married couple, want to live together? What if the illegal is from a country like Belize (Mexico's neighbor to the south), which criminalizes homosexual activity? If a gay man falls in love with another man who happens to have fled Belize for fear of persecution due to his sexual orientation, do you still think they should "consider their vows" and move back to that country and face criminal penalties?
(As an odd aside, Belize only criminalizes male-on-male homosexual activity, females are free to enjoy their lesbianism without jailtime)

Seems like they won the lottery being illegal and gay. That's probably going to get them free housing, free legal representation and perhaps an honory degree or two, not to mention more job offers. They just need to layer that over a disability cloak and they'll be American royalty.
For a hetero sexual couple it is possible for a US citizen to marry someone that is undocumented and get a green card and eventual citizenship. It takes a good lawyer and a lot of cash, but it can be done. For gays, they come up on the short end of the stick as long as the "Defense of Marriage Act" is still in place.
