I believe the questioning was directed at the individuals who leave their wives and children behind and then start a new family in the USA.

If you move to the United States illegally, you have to anticipate that someday, the United States might make you go back home.
No sympathy, no excuses. You knew the risks going in. Choosing to have a kid in the United States (nobody forced you to do same) also comes with the KNOWN risk that someday, you may have to be separated from the child if you are forced to go back home and do not want to bring them back to the old country.
If you did not know the risk, or did not ever think it would happen to you, then your arrogance and willful ignorance does not garner additional sympathy.

No it stands. There are a good number of male illegals have done what I have said. This isnt new this is old news.
