The Canadians seem to realize that there are actually people out there that would take advantage of their social programs. And they are willing to take a stand against it.

It also appears as though their government actually gives a darn what their citizens think. That is truly refreshing!

Does this mean that Canadians are all racist, bigoted, hicks? I guess that will depend on whether they have one demographic that has the temerity to walk across the border and demand more rights than the Canadians are granted.

Maybe we could talk some Canadian politicians into immigrating here. They seem to be thinking of their fellow man before their own career.

At least Canada is taking a stance, and realizing the scope of the immigration prolbems our Countries face. Those in power in our Country, are utter morons, and don't care what it's citizens think, and that is quite sad.

Almost all countries have immigration laws. The USA is the only nation in the world that is expected to have no laws regarding immigration.

We are the only ones who are supposed to take this sh*t laying down, you know? Everyone wants a piece of their pie and the government and liberals dpn't care what Americans think. Most countries don't put up with that crap!

I already knew Canadians don't take illegal immigration lightly. Half of my family is from there and I've heard many, many stories...and I say good for them!

And it was understood that the OP article was about Canadian citizenship being revoked from individuals accused falsifying at least a portion of their Canadian residency time, thereby not complying with naturalization requirements...

The cases can still be contested, but it is thought that the evidence against them is more compelling...

Something equivalent to a U.S. Legal Permanent Resident not being truthful about reporting the time outside the U.S. on their N-400...

The remainder of the article is about sentiments among Canadians about legal immigration to Canada...

There, just like it would be here, ultimately means it is not an illegal immigration topic...

I guess if you keep repeating it enough it will magically be true?

Then let's talk about how easy it is to immigrate illegally to Canada.

If you are trying to gain citizenship in an illegal manner is that not trying to immigrate illegally?

Doesn't seem strikingly different to me than those that come here, steal someone's identity, then steal a job from a citizen.

No, read the article, it isn't about illegal immigration at all...
