This so-called growing antagonism towards Hispanics in general is their own fault. All the polls show that most think that their ethnic group should be rewarded for breaking our immigration laws so how do they expect non-hispanic Americans to feel about them? They are the most vocal about it and call any Americans who want our immigration laws enforced, racists etc. So now they are puzzled by this growing antagonism? Note how the claim is that it is insulting to Hispanics to expect our immigration laws to be respected and enforced? WTH?

You're right, sadly enough. Why I say "sadly" is there are many Hispanic Americans who HATE it that illegal aliens are even here and it'll be those Hispanic Americans who may catch hell IF things get much worse.

Those types of patriotic Hispanics should march in our streets along with other Americans who oppose illegal immigration and let their voices be heard louder than the ethnocentric types. I know though unfortunately many of them are afraid of being called "race traitors" by their own ethnic group. It's sad really.

I don't think you'd want to live in Mexico right now. The country is pretty much a basket case.

Yes, but the point is that he would learn Spanish or the language of whatever country he migrated to (legally of course) out of respect for the citizens of that country and so would I. I would not only learn it but I would speak it out in public.

The majority of Mexico is mestizo(half spaniard white/half indian), there are full blooded indians too.

Puerto Rico is african, indian and spaniard white.
62% of puerto ricans are of indian descent.
