Yes, it really makes you wonder. How much is it again that Americans failing to purchase insurance will have to pay -- yet anyone here illegally isn't expected to buy insurance at all, and faces no fine, yet has complete access to all the healthcare they could want.
Same as is done now, a citizen may end up losing his home or take on life-long debt for a hospital stay while illegals will never be sent a bill, never be expected to make a co-pay. It's absolutely insane.

The "benefits" are not part of the bill, the bill is just funding the community health centers. It will fund hospitals, too, and - omgcanyoubelievethisoutrage - they don't check immigration status in ER's either.
Uh, yes, under $30M out of a piece of legislation that will cost many billions. That is, in fact, relatively tiny. The amount of care that will actually go from this money to illegal immigrants is even tinier.
Yeah I read the article actually now. Benicar is mad because an illegal immigrant might use emergency care from a hospital that received the funding. That's not covering illegal aliens for health insurance. lulz
