I wonder how that number would stack up against the number of people that have had their IDs stolen or lost loved ones.

The cost of illegals just keep adding up. As citizens we have to guard our identies with our life to appease the minority.

You would rather pay for their food and housing while they sit in a cell awaiting the court proceedings? I mean, I'm pretty sure that is like the main thing you guys cry about besides "it's the law".

And the ones that are not so simple would justify investigation.
very few folks in this day and age dont have a mile of paper trail linking them to their citizenship.

You guys? Please show me a post of mine where I complained about jailing an illegal awaiting deportation.
And yes I would deny them their living and ability to support staying here.

You complain about them leeching your tax money which they will do by taking up housing and eating food while in detention awaiting the court proceedings as opposed to you know, working and living somewhere they are paying rent. Also, you don't even know if they are illegal yet. Like has already been shown they may be actual U.S. citizens.

No I complain when they have an illegal that is an obvious illegal and giving him a walk.
When they can produce no documentation. No finger prints on record. And no paper trail? That is a no brainer. Add to this when they admit that they are here illegally.
Thats when I have a problem.

Just like with any other lawbreakers incarceration is a necessary evil sometimes. Maybe we should just let all criminals go because afterall it cost money to incarcerate them according to the pro-illegals? As you stated, many of these illegals are a flight risk. If they were given 3 days or 24 hours as you suggested to prove their status in this country the cost of three days or less incarceration is not mega bucks. Why should they be given years and years and set free with a work permit to take a job that an American needs?

OK. Keep acting like it's impossible that an American would have trouble providing this information despite a gov't court link I've already provided with NUMEROUS cases of it happening.

I thought they already had to have ID to use any kind of transport in the United States that isn't a city bus.

GTFOH. They should be I.D'ing EVERYONE using transportation in this country. It's not like we know who's in the USA anyhow, I.D. EVERYONE!

Keep on acting like its a common problem among legal citizens.
Most carry an ID everywhere they go.
Most have tax returns from previous years.
Most have a SSN. and card
Most have a paper trail.
