A Chinese mother who beat a passport-fraud charge after trying to sneak into South Florida may have a strong asylum claim, based on her country’s “one-child’’ policy that limits family size..........They sneaked out of China with four men using false Japanese passports to travel through Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and finally to South Florida (http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/08/16/2362277/chinese-mother-smuggled-to-south.html - broken link)

It's much easier for Chinese to get asylum I don't know the number but large number do get asylums, Immigration only checks if you not on some terrorist watch list and confirm who you are before releasing you on bail while the person fights his case in Immigration Court

Let's leave that particular can of worms closed. We don't need to grant de facto asylum and all the welfare benefits that go with it to a billion Chinese people. She needs to go back to China. If the Chinese have too many people that is not our problem.
When will all the gay Ugandans show up asking for asylum?
That's a different kettle of fish.
A.) Gay Ugandans may actually be in mortal danger if their homosexuality is revealed
B.) There aren't that many of them
C.) They don't come from a country that owns a significant portion of our debt
D.) They don't come from a country whose one-child policy is actually a reasonable response to intense overpopulation
E.) The Chinese woman is not actually in danger, she just wants more kids than the government allows her to have
