"I have always said that the term "Illegal Immigration" is an oxymoron. As a Naturalized Citizen, it has always frosted my butt whenever I hear excuses about why we need to accept the burden of supporting people who willfully violate our laws. Especially since the countries that they come from would never tolerate the same if it were happening in the reverse. If we were to apply the very basic concept of right versus wrong - this issue couldn't be any clearer - the excuses just don't cut it".

I don't agree with all the views of the author of this article such as documentation for illegals who haven't committed a felony but he does make some other good points. Those who are felony free (which isn't a lot of them based on I.D. and SS theft) should return to their home countries wait behind those who have already applied to come here legally.

LOL, the "wait in line like everyone else" lie. Again? Really? There is no line.

Here, I've highlighted in green "the line" you're telling people to get in:

THERE

IS

NO

LINE

To use your favorite phrase, what part of "there is no line" don't you understand???

Stop telling people to get into it. Pretending there is a line is just a way to fool yourself into thinking just anyone can come to the US. People who are qualified get to come here and they do all the "waiting in line" WHILE THEY ARE HERE.

I know there's no line. Unlike most Americans I'm fairly familiar with the types of visas the US government issues and who qualifies for what. I've been an immigrant/naturalized in other nations myself and have also gone through the process of getting a green card for my then-spouse here in the United States. (We are now amicably divorced and though the visa was issued, he never relocated here.)

I know damn well most illegals wouldn't qualify under any category except family ties, if any legal ones exist.

Know what? I don't care. If you don't qualify to immigrate here, TOUGH. Stay where you are. Or go somewhere else. We have standards for a reason. Sometimes, the answer has to be NO.

So my question to YOU is:

WHAT PART OF 'NO' DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

The line is applying for one of those visas in your homeland and when your name comes up it is either "yes or no". As you said, if the answer is no then that is the end of the story. You can't come here illegally instead. I'd like to see an answer to you question also as it is an excellent one.
