Then play that little violin loudly enough for us all to hear.
Um, I pay taxes just like everyone else.

What's so horrible about "living in the same town as them"? Seriously, what's your play here? Literally run them all out of town?

I didn't say "do whatever," I said follow the rules of the country or face the consequences.

Lost on you, though.
Right, so as long as you make it known in advance what the consequences are, you don't see a problem?

I don't have to let someone come in my house. I bought it, I pay the bills, I bought the food, I pay the taxes.
I agree, you should control who gets to come to your house.

But the USA isn't your house.

Wrong! Obama put the final nail in his own coffin with this fiasco. The GOP doesn't need to do anything. He won't be re-elected in 2012 anyway.

So, basically it will take 15 months to break even. and rest is a clear profit. Plus all those jobs open up.

Win/win!!!

Well, actually, it is. The majority of America agrees with me.
I am a real tax paying citizen. My state agrees with me, too.

Cool story, then don't hire them or invite them to your actual house.

The fact that some people agree with you doesn't suddenly make the country your house, even in some goofy figurative sense.

Exactly! If this were just about putting these people on the back burner then why are they going to be given work permits while millions of Americans aren't working?

Everything I mentioned in my post?

Not to mention having their crappy dwellings which are crammed
with other illegals mucking up the neighborhood?

Yeah, they are great for the community.
Let them be great for YOUR community.

Our immigration laws aren't wrong they are fair and generous unless you want to ignore the fact that we take in a million legal immigrants per year. But sorry, we can't take in the whole world's poor.

I see so if a bank robber robs a bank in a non-violent manner he shouldn't be imprisoned?
When in history?... How about Native Americans? They were forced to relocate to reservations based on their ethnicity and nationality.

What am I babbling about? You're clearly not understanding, so let me try and spell it out: One should not be punished for refusing to enforce a law that is unjust.

Why is a million the right number? Because some bureaucrat decided so? Please explain how you feel that the government has such an amazing ability to determine the optimal amount of immigrants for an economy. Your faith in central planning is interesting.

As for immigrants being poor? Let me refer you to the Statue of Liberty:

Well, jeez, there are a lot of ignorant, lazy, redneck americans, and I resent having to pay for their kids to be in school, having to pay their medical expenses, and the effect of the meth they bring into the community, too.

Are you bothered by those guys? I mean, they drive their beat up old pickups and they live in their crappy run-down doublewides, it's pretty horrible!

I mean I know you guys are gonna be all "but thems amerkins, we caint deport em!" but dang, can't we just make them move to alaska or something?
