Yeah well most aren't abusing the system as it is now. They are trying to work. So as I said yesterday, about 2/3 of the 12-30 million people don't fit into your little stereotype about the poor illegals. We could also just not allow welfare handouts to people if that is your real issue here.
Every illegal here is abusing the system. Every illegal is committing fraud, working without a work permit, breaking immigration laws, violating their visa terms, and the majority rely on welfare handouts such as Medicaid or other government provided healthcare. That's why they have an illegal status and that's why they can take the lowest paying jobs yet have the largest families.
Some abuse it less, some abuse it more. Yes there are illegals who didn't happen yet to need hospital care, they accept jobs without job benefits like health insurance or workman's comp because they count on getting free health care if they were to need it, they have no intention of paying their hospital and health care bills. They haven't yet had children but once they do, they are always happy with their new food stamp cards and WIC.

I've mentioned here before that it'd be pretty easy to offer citizenship with the qualifier that you would be ineligible for programs X, Y, and Z. Surprise - no one here supported it, even though it directly addresses their biggest complaint.

Not all illegals are women. Not all illegal women have yet given birth. Another portion are too elderly to give birth or may not be physically capable of giving birth for other reasons. Giving birth is the way illegals access the many welfare handout programs.
Over half of illegals here are males, not sure why but maybe they climb fences better. Males don't easily get onto the welfare programs directly.
So a whole third of illegals to be directly getting welfare, that's a lot of welfare and illegals on welfare. Since fewer than 1/2 of illegals are women in the first place and not all that less than 1/2 has yet given birth, the fact that 1/3 of illegals are getting welfare handouts says a lot.

They cannot give birth, but obviously they can shack up with one who has given birth and benefit quite nicely with the free place to live and can eat the food bought with food stamps.

Yeah I get it, even if they aren't "on" welfare, they are such dishonest and immoral people they will shack up with women (who are apparently all single) just to abuse the welfare they are receiving. mhmmmmm.
