Yes, you heard correctly. Unlike AB 130 that was passed last month to allow illegals to receive funding for private funded scholarships. The California Senate has given the go ahead for illegals to now receive PUBLIC AID.

"The Senate Appropriations Committee approved the final part of a two-bill package known as the California Dream Act, which would allow students who qualify for reduced in-state tuition to apply for an estimated $40 million in Cal Grants, community college fee waivers, and other public scholarship and grant programs."

Just another slap in the face to Californian tax payers.

Like we never saw it coming.

So when is the Obama administration going to sue California?

Let me guess...

NEVER!

I literally punched a wall when I first heard this news This sort of crap is exactly why I am looking to move out of California. I'll be damned if another dollar of my tax money helps support these bastards.

If you are reading this and living in another state, PLEASE support all anti-immigration measures and political groups before this nonsense spreads any further!!!!

Yes, fantastic Maybe we should all pay for them to wipe their butts after they poop as well. I was getting tired of all that useless money from not paying enough taxes.

That's going to be in the Dream Act 2.0, God willing.

Oh boy, I can't wait! I'll start emptying out my savings account right now in anticipation. Who needs taxes that take care of the needs of the legal citizens who actually pay them? That's just plain silly.

Illegals pay taxes, too.

It is not known how many undocumented students will be eligible to apply for the aid. About 41,000 students — undocumented immigrants and out-of-state residents who attended California high schools — in the UC, Cal State and community college systems receive reduced in-state tuition, less than 1% of total enrollment.

Yes, but they pay a lot less and many are paid under the table. Others work for employers who don't deduct payments, such as social security and medicare, from their paychecks. The statistics on this are a bit murky, but I do not consider whatever percentage they do contribute to be significant.

My point was that taxes are meant to take care of the nation's LEGAL citizens. The fact that illegals pay them at all is sort of like compensation for something that shouldn't be taking place to begin with. It's time to make taxes serve their original purpose.
