With or without penalties it is still amnesty. If you want to call it legalization instead ok but it is still the wrong thing for this country and its ciitzens. We have millions of Americans out of work. How is adding millions of illegals to our workforce permanently a good solution to this mess? Who is anti-"immigrant"?

Fast tracking people to being here legally by making them do a couple of circus acts is indeed an amnesty.

But if it was made into a process just like what legal immigrants follow, would that be more digestible?...

But she was in custody. The prisoners taken to the hospital are treated the exact same way. That includes those awaiting trial but couldnt post bail.

I have defined amnesty and it sounds a whole lot like what the pro-side is advocting.

Why duplicate (another line) whats already there? Many were in the line to begin with, they simply got tired of waiting and chose to get out of it, why accommodate them further?

Oh, the old discredited, disingenuous "get in the line" gambit.

OK, let's play your game. What if instead we just made "the line" much easier to ACTUALLY GET INTO and made it much faster to go through?

They are already in the workforce. If its okay for you to call my proposals amnesty( you have freedom of speech), then i have the right to state my opinion that majority of posters here are anti-immigrant. No?

I am 100% for stream lining the process and speeding it up. I am not for lowering standards.
