Romney is not Mexican. His grandfather went to Mexico. 125 years ago. His father, George was born there, a child of American citizens. We have many Americans living in other countries. They have children. They are Americans citizens. If you are sent to work in China, have a kid with your American wife, it does not make the kid Chinese.

Mexico has birthright citizenship, so his father would be a Mexican before becoming a U.S. citizen (born abroad). In fact Mitt wouldn't even have to set foot in Mexico, he could go to a Mexican Consulate and gain an additional nationality from his father's Mexican citizenship. Sounds like a Manchurian Candidate to me.

How could he be rough on his Paisanos?...

Mitt is not ethnically hispanic. He was born in this country from non-hispanic parents. He has no ties to Mexico personally or ethnically so why would he want a dual nationality with Mexico?

George ran for US president in 1968; he born in Mexico may have messed up his chances under US law. It didnt matter cause he lost in the primarys.

It's nothing about "ethnically hispanic", there are Mennonite Mexicans...

Don't read more into it than it is...

Mitt could be Mexican...

And as I asked. Why would he want to hold dual citizenship with Mexico? He was born here and has no ethnic ties to Mexico. Mormons aren't just in Mexico. We have them here in this country also.

How was George a Hispanic? His roots weren't in Spain. His ancestors were from England.
