My reply is what *I* said. I don't see what was disrespectful there. Again, I still don't know what you are even suggested that I misquoted you about. You said X, I reply Y. What (exactly) did I say that you said that you didn't say???
The problem you all are having is that you're trying too hard to read between the lines. Read what was said for once, address the issues that are being addressed. Honestly, the amount of spinning and misinterpreting what is being said here is staggering, I feel like it's a forum for arguing politicians. I feel at least 80% of these misunderstandings are done on purpose.
And at the same time, despite using exactly the same tactics, both sides feel like they have the moral highground

Have you bought anything lately that wasn’t made in China, or spoken to tech support that wasn’t located in India? Do you also believe those jobs are being performed by foreigners because Americans don’t want to compete? If so, please explain the displacement of U.S. IT professionals, and our high unemployment rates resulting from the closure of manufacturing factories. Do you think thousands of Hersey employees just lost the will to work, forcing Hersey to relocate their operations to Mexico?
Bear in mind, due to their status, illegals are highly exploitable. Therefore, employers can force them to work hours that violate our labor laws. They can also be forced to work under hazardous conditions, without complying with OSHA regulations. If they complain, employers simply threaten to report them to ICE. Not to mention, illegals will gladly accept lower wages and no benefits, and live 15 to a 2-bedroom apartment. They also work under the table, thus saving themselves and their employers the burden of paying taxes.
Don’t fall for the lie that illegals are only doing jobs Americans won’t do. Funny, Americans had all of those jobs for years prior to the current cheap labor/greed epidemic. You had better hope YOUR job doesn’t become the next to be added to the list of jobs “Americans won’t do.”
Employers hire illegals for the same reason they outsource for cheap labor, and in some cases, in-source for cheap labor through H-1B Visas -- GREED.

Uh no, you're the one who was claiming that in post #71. The reason that employers are hiring illegal aliens is simply because they can pay them less than an American (as if you didn't actually know that). Americans do compete but they get bypassed for the cheap,illegal labor by the greedy employers.
