So basically Perry is an undercover Democrat.. Hmm

I am not voting for him anyway. I am behind Romney on the issue and also agree with most of Michelle Bachmann's views on illegal immigration

Michelle Bachman is not going to get the nom, nor one for VP. She is there for entertainment value.
Romney may not either, but even if he did and won, I would fully expect him to flip-flop once in office, like they all do.

I do agree with his "get rid of the magnet" statement 100%, though.
But again, he'd never enforce it.
No Republican would b/c of the cheap labor the businesses enjoy. Sad.

If Perry got the nom, what would you do?

The Texas lege was hours away from passing e-verify this spring. Rick Perry's number one benefactor stepped in and stopped it.
They need that cheap labor to build houses and bus tables and dress chickens. He talks about sealing the border, but does nothing to do it. He was able to pin the sanctuary city title on his opponent this last election, when the state did the exact same thing.

i would go with paul over perry.

hell, i would go with obama over perry.

perry is a stalinist, and im glad he got called out on what he was trying to do to school kids in texas with the forced injections.

I would go with Ron Paul too, but he isn't going to get the nom.

NOTHING could make me vote for Obama.

i wouldnt vote then, or would vote a 3rd party independent.

i dont do the lesser of 2 evils kid stuff pick one or the other.

obama is bad. rick perry is worse.

that means neither will probably get my vote.

i cant believe any poster on this specific illegal immigration forum would ever consider voting for rick perry. only governor in the country handing out in state tuition to illegals.

his trans texas corridor idea was open borders, that the state shouted down, and like i said before, he also is a stalinist by attemtping to force injections on kids.

Personally I support Herman Cain. He hasn't gotten as many questions as the other candidates, but the man is extremely estute. He probably won't get the nomination however. I think Perry will get the nomination irrespective of his stance on immigration. Sadly, I will support him in the national election over Obama. Stick a fork in him... Obama is done.

I like Herman Cain the most also. He has the best all-American background of any of the candidates I think, he seems the most pro-American.
