I mean, wow. There is a lot of hyperbole used in this forum but this has got to be top ten. Using a number that was once associated with a person who is now dead isn't anywhere close to the same as digging up a casket and disturbing a body. Ask 100 grieving people which would bother them more if they found out it happened to their dead relative.
Whether the person is dead or not, the social security number was issued to THEM. Period. It doesn't have an expiration date on the back or terms of condition allowing someone else to use if after you die.
Some of you folks fail to accept anything that doesn't fit your agenda.
