Yes, I read it. It didn't mention any other victims than the dead person. LOL at the "grave robbing" accusation. Basically all you've got here is a bunch of emotional muckraking.

It's no different than digging up caskets and robbing the dead victim of gold teeth or jewelry or bones, it's the same kind of "victimless" crime, of course the dead person isn't harmed as you say but robbing the dead of their identities is just as greedy and loathsome of a crime.
And these aren't the illegals who will do those hard jobs for little pay that Americans don't want to do, they're stealing the dead of their identities so they can take jobs from Americans, the jobs Americans want and will do.

A) there's a super-simple way to stop this
B) it discredits the anti-immigrant narrative that they're ruining people's lives. As people have pointed out over and over again, the vast majority of this type of SSN fraud is specifically conducted using dead people's numbers, which means no actual people are seriously harmed by it.

I mean, wow. There is a lot of hyperbole used in this forum but this has got to be top ten. Using a number that was once associated with a person who is now dead isn't anywhere close to the same as digging up a casket and disturbing a body. Ask 100 grieving people which would bother them more if they found out it happened to their dead relative.

Here's a way to tell if it's actually different - which would you rather have happen to you?
