I love how NeoCons pick on California for attracting Illegals when the real reason is because your FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is deliberatly dragging its feet on doing its damn job and taking care of this problem.

Point Blank: Immigration is a federal issue, not a state issue.

But because DC has turned a blind eye, states like CA and AZ will respond to the issue based on the collective morals of their respective populations-hence all the anger from opponents on both sides.
