Obama has deported 1.06 million illegal immigrants through two-and-a-half years in office, Reuters reports. This puts him on pace for more deportations in his first term than George W. Bush's 1.57 million in his entire eight years of his presidency.
We have to put a stop to illegal immigration.
The question becomes, with his lack of border security and welcoming policies for those illegals who support him, how many of these 1.06 million are actually repeat illegals? And, in true 0-bama fashion, counted multiple times to make it appear that he is doing something?

Inquiring minds want to know.
Read the link. It says that two-thirds of the "non-criminal" removals (reported as 54% of the total deportations) in FY2010 were "caught as they crossed the border, were recent arrivals, or were repeat violators previously deported". That would make it slightly above a third of the one million total.
Normally ICE - Immigration and Customs Enforcement - numbers will not encompass border crossings, because they are focused on interior apprehensions. An unnamed ICE official in the article quotes the department being funded for the deportations of about 400,000 per year, which under Obama is reported at almost that level, approximately 393,000. It is happening - Whether people want to believe it or not.

Too bad he tainted that record by allowing 300,000 deportable illegals to remain here and to be given work permits. Too bad he tainted that record by pandering to the Hispanic advocacy groups with a promise of amnesty/CIR.

Not Obama's problem. The system can handle around 400,000 deportations. If you want to add another 300,000 you would have to almost double that. I await the house bill to do that...
If we are going to deport 400,000 I would think criminals and then new arrivals would be a good start.

Exactly right - Both criminal behavior or caught at crossing specifically excludes someone from Cancellation of Removal proceedings - Making it much easier to get rid of them faster (it also goes over much better with the public at large)...
Also remember that the waivered cases (which aren't removing them from the system, just recognizing the reality that it is going to take longer) are those that have been into the immigration court system, and may have very valid claims for injunctive relief...

Read my statement that you quoted. Nice attempt at not answering the real question contained within. Of course that answer would be uncomfortable for you and your cohorts.
BTW, being caught trying to make or having made an illegal border crossing MAKES them criminal. In fact not stemming the tide at all or addressing the real question of damage done by illegals. Another 0-bama fail.
