Yes they should. The fine should equal whatever the fed says is the average cost of deporting an illegal along with jail time. This should include Joe cheapskate who trolls Home Depot for illegal labor.
They should be fined 100K per illegal alien and if it is a bigger company, 500K - as a matter of fact all businesses who employ them should....If people start losing money and filing for bankruptcy, they will learn a lesson.

Yes and no one can have an ounce of sympathy for these greedy individuals who couldn't bring themselves to pay decent wages but wanted to get rich quick by bringing in the cheapest possible labor. This kind of greed is exactly what is bringing this country down, and besides huge fines which can be used to pay back society for the damage they've done, they need to be sent to prison.
Totally agree. If the fines are stiff enough these greedy employers will stop hiring illegal aliens. This thread is proof positive that we anti's do hold the employers accountable contrary to the pro-illegal propaganda that we only blame the illegals themselves. Of course they only blame the former but not the latter. I wonder why the double standard on their part? Reeks of hypocricy, doesn't it?
Hey..they pay the fine and go back to doing what they are doing.
They are still making out better in the long run profit wise even with paying the fine.
The fine needs to be astronomical and a prison sentence to go along with it.
That is a better preventative measure. They have nothing to fear now except a "fine".
