Supreme Court Denies Illegal Alien’s Appeal
Is there no limit to the pandering? First, the Supreme Court ruled that illegal aliens must “knowingly” steal a persons’ identity to be convicted of felony ID theft. Now, in the 10th District, they cannot be convicted of felony re-entry unless they “knowingly” intended to enter this country. No, this is not a joke.
Fortunately, the Supreme Court upheld his conviction. But, illegals will now feign ignorance when illegally re-entering this country. After all, they don’t actually intend to illegally cross the border. They think they’re still in Mexico.
Quote:
Sierra-Ledesma had been in immigration custody 19 times and had used more than 40 aliases, 10 false dates of birth and seven false Social Security numbers. His criminal record dating to 1964 included illicit drug sales, weapons crimes and immigration offenses.
In the future, district courts in the 10th Circuit will have to include in jury instructions for re-entry cases that they must find the defendant knew he was coming illegally into the United States in order to convict him, Anderson said.

I mean, you never know! Someone might get to LA and not even know they are in the US because certain parts of LA look more like a 3rd world country and English is rarely spoken there

I used to live in Southern California. Less than 2 years ago and I doubt it's gotten any better.

If you have no SS number and use another number..that IS stealing.
How can that be anything else ?
Our legal system is really bending over backwards and stretching the meaning of the law here to let the illegals stay.
An American with that type of arrest record would be in jail for quite some time.
Illegal ? Why just give him busfare home each and every time you arrest him.

Or 'Texico.' There are some parts of DFW that look exactly like Nuevo Laredo or Juarez.
And you KNOW once they've successfully taken over this country they're going to put one of Zedillo's stupid banderas monumentales up and it'll block the friggin' sun.

Word gets around what Calif. is like. I certainly can attest to the "Mexifornia" label.
