The problem is, murderers and rapists should be locked up forever in prison, but if they are here illegally, all they get is a nice vacation back in their home country and they can easily get a new stolen identity, a new stolen social security number if they like and they're back over the border into the USA any time they please. Mexico doesn't even want these thugs there temporarily because that's all it is.

I don't care about Mexico, really, all I care to know is that some of the vegetables and fruit I eat come from there. That's it. If their president is so concerned, he'd try doing something about it on his own turf instead of trying to change things on ours.
Mexico City, Oct 17, 2011 (EFE via COMTEX) -- President Felipe Calderon on Monday accused U.S. authorities of deporting Mexican criminals to save on judicial costs, a policy that ostensibly "exacerbates" violence in this country....Some of these deported people "are migrants, certainly, probably all of them," although some were "already involved in criminal acts" in the United States.
This is just another line of BS, and I'm going to catch some flack for this, this is like his statement that their drug cartels wouldn't be so bad if Americans didn't want their drugs.
I bet that if the Mexican drug supply dried up the drug use in the US would drop SHARPLY...Yes, there are hardcore addicts that WILL find a way to feed their habit but the recreational, weekend user would prolly just give it up if the drugs got too hard to find or expensive. Mexico is the Walmart of drugs to the US. The statement "If you build it they will come" is appropiate here.
The fact that the Mexican government actually prints a field guide with a MAP!! on how to enter the US illegally proves they want their indigent out of their hair and on our dole.
Exactly what I've been saying. Illegals are being spared prison sentences for homicide and rape. Anyone else would be locked up for life for many of the crimes the illegals are simply deported and allowed to obtain new identities and return illegally.
These criminals are so violent they can't even wait until they return to the USA but will commit murder and rape and other violent crimes even during their short stay in a border town.
The OP would be funny if it wern't so pathetic. Mexico doens't want their criminals back? Too bad, they're your citizens.
Mexico neither wants it's citizens back nor does it want to pay for their prison costs. But these hardened violent criminals shouldn't be getting off scot-free either and that's what's going on. It really pays to be an illegal when committing very serious crimes as you are not sent to prison but allowed to roam free.
Calderon doesn't need to worry too much, they aren't staying long in the border towns but head quickly back to the USA, often with a whole new stolen set of identification.
No prison time is just another benefit our government provides the illegals.
It is obvious that there is absolutely no limit to the arrogance (and ignorence) of Calderon. There are NO words that can properly describe our situation with Mexico. I won't even try to make some up.
